Bonnie Mary (Neeley) Grinstead, of Los Angeles, formerly of Bryan, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013. Private family services are planned in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Bryan, she served with the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration in Europe after WWII, helping concentration camp survivors relocate.

Bonnie graduated from UC Berkeley, where she met her husband, Hugh. She was a devoted mother and grandmother as well as a very successful fundraiser for the Los Angeles Master Chorale, organizing its High School Choir Festival, one of the largest in the nation.

Her sisters, Maurine and Ruth preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Hugh Grinstead; three children, Iris, Amy and John; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will greatly miss her.
