Mrs. Onie Mae Johnson, 94, of Bryan, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Joseph Manor in Bryan, Texas. Visitation was Wednesday, December 4, at Daniel & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Church of the Living God 1009 Hudson St., Bryan Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, in Bryan.

Onie Mae Johnson was born on July 7,1919 in Brazos County to the late Napoleon Hunter and Charlotte Tucker.

Onie Mae Johnson was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and spending time with her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of fishing and her amazing wit.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She had only one son, Rickie Wayne, and Marilyn whom she considered her daughter, also considered Temesha, Sterling, Jr. Phebe and Naomi, to all of whom she considered her grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them as her own.

Left to cherish her memory are those listed above as well as three nephews, Billy Hines, of Houston, Texas, Paul Hines and William Hines, both of Bryan and one niece Virgia Elliot of Houston, Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services are entrusted to Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th St. Bryan, TX 77803, 979-822-2841.
