No mountain is too big for nine-year-old Ashton. He recently went rock climbing at Texas A&M.
Ashton says he is used to facing challenges. The foster child hopes to be adopted by loving, adventurous parents so he can one day take them to climb a rock wall too.
"I am a pretty cool kid,” Ashton said.
Ashton would love to have siblings.
"I think having a brother or sister is actually pretty fun because I would get to play with them."
