She's a creative teen who hopes to become a cosmetologist someday -- but before then, this high school freshman wants to be part of a forever family.

"I think it's important to have dreams in your life because I think it makes you a part of who you are," said Kelly B.

It's not every day you hear those words coming from a fifteen year old --But when your name is Kelly B -- it's not so surprising after all.

Although she just began her journey into high school -- this freshman says she cannot wait to get out -- so she can accomplish her lifelong dream of becoming a cosmetologist.

"My aunt used to do my hair when I was little and I used to hang out with her at her salon before I went into care and I always thought it was really neat," Kelly added.

And already Kelly admits she's the designated cosmetologist inside her foster home.

"My foster sisters sometimes fight over me doing their toenails, and when it's all finished, you're like, 'Wow I did that!' and it makes you feel great about yourself and that's how I feel, and they're like, 'It looks so good,' and I'm like, 'I know, I did it!"

When she's not busy painting toenails, or doing hair -- Kelly B is playing volleyball, hanging with friends and even getting her hands dirty.

“I dissected a frog last year, and I was like, ‘Wahoo! I never got to do that!’ so I said, 'let's do it!'."

With her dreams and goals mapped out, Kelly says she's missing one more critical element...

“When you have a family, they're there to help you and you have support and you have someone to call your own and right now, I don't have that,” she said.

Although Kelly admits she's a daddy's girl, she wants a family with a strong bond and...

“I'm looking for a family that's going to accept me for who I am,” Kelly added.

Kelly says she'd love to have brothers and sisters to grow with and a mother and father who will accept her, guide her, and provide unconditional love.
