Ahmad is very shy when he meets new people. He has a good sense of humor and is generally a happy child. He enjoys playing basketball and football; he's looking forward to playing sports next school year. Ahmad is an inquisitive and bright child. He likes to travel and see new things.
Ahmad gets along well with his peers and does well in school. He likes to play with friends, but he can become easily frustrated.
Foster parents say Ahmad is a very easy going child to have in their home. He is easily redirected when needed. Ahmad's caseworker adds that he's "very easy going and laid back." He is very active and likes to play games. He's very polite and respectful of others.
Ahmad knows that he is waiting for a family but he also believes a family is waiting for him to love and support them. Adoptive parents should provide him with structure and positive reinforcement. He does best with realistic and well-defined expectations and rules. He will thrive with a father and mother that are committed, nurturing and will provide him with one-on-one quality time.
Ahmad will benefit from participating in extra curriculular activities to engage his energy level and enrich his educational skills. Adoptive parents will take him to church and allow him to participate in outreach ministries. His family will support him in fulfilling his vision for his future.
Ahmad's sister was adopted by another family who do not wish to continue sibling visits. This has been difficult for Ahmad. It is time Ahmad has a permanent family who will love him enough to make him know that he belong to them and they belong to him forever and ever.
