For those of you who have siblings, you know how important they can be in your life. In this month's Wednesday's Child, we get to meet four siblings who pray they are adopted together.
It's a ordinary day at the Tanglewood Splash Park in Bryan, but if you ask Francisca, Anthony, Gabriella or Victor, they would tell you it is an extraordinary day; they get to soak up the summer sun while surrounded by people who love them.
Beautiful and brown-eyed, Francisca has her hands full as a big sister. On a hot sunny day she says there is nothing better than, "Going to the park, playing in the water and do monkey bars," said Francisca.
So that's exactly what we did. Francisca is only eight years old, however, she is inherently affectionate and sociable. She loves being around people, playing with her dolls and singing, but more than anything, Francisca loves being with her three younger siblings.
Five year old Anthony is outgoing, playful and inquisitive. And if you ask him, he loves "all things" cars. In fact, when he grows up he wants to be a race car driver. He loves to laugh and enjoys putting puzzles together.
There is also Gabriella. She is just three years old and already has the ability to steal your heart. The thing about Gabriella is that she is always smiling---She is adventurous, charismatic, outgoing and a quick learner. Gabriella loves playing with dolls and toys that make music.
And the youngest is Victor--this very energetic, bright-eyed two-year-old likes to explore the world around him. He plays well with others and also doesn't mind playing by himself.
Cooling off from the summer heat, these four siblings have been through a lot. They were taken from there home in Central Texas more than a year ago. They would like a family that will adopt and raise them together. They also need to be shown how a healthy and stable family interacts with one another. The children will thrive in a home with consistency, structure, assurance and most importantly unconditional love.
