Alleged Bank Robber Nabbed After High Speed Chase Save Email Print

A Corpus Christi man is in custody after he allegedly robbed a Lee County bank.

Around 2 p.m. Tuesday, authorities say Prosperity Bank in Dime Box was robbed by a man with a handgun. Authorities chased the suspect towards Giddings at speeds upwards of 100 miles per hour.

Giddings Police eventually ended the pursuit on Highway 290.

Chad Wayne Carriker was arrested. He is charged with aggravated robbery.
