A final tour leads to the district's stamp of approval for Bryan's newest high school.

Bryan school board members took a final walk through Monday evening of Rudder High School.

After checking out classrooms and the athletic complex, board members voted to formally accept the building.

Workers are still making some last minute cosmetic touches to Rudder High, which will welcome freshman and sophomores when school starts August 25.

Students also picked up their class schedules Monday. For those who didn't make it, there is a makeup schedule pickup on Friday.

Officials expect close to 600 students to walk through the doors the first day of school.
