An early morning fire in has left a Calvert man without a home this holiday.
The fire started around 6:30 Thursday morning and initial reports said someone might be trapped in the house.
Both the Calvert and Hearne fire departments responded to the fire which was put out in a matter of minutes. Fortunately no one was in the home and the owner was at work when the fire started.
The fire is under investigation.
