Burleson County Home Burns Down Late Sunday

A mobile home in Burleson County was destroyed late Sunday night, though no one is believed to have been injured.
The home is located in the Wilderness Sound subdivision about five miles west of Lyons off Park Road 57 near Highway 60
According to Sheriff Dale Stroud, the home was fully engulfed, as Somerville, Deanville and Burch Creek fire departments responded to the scene.
No cause is known as of late Sunday.

Good job fire departments. With it being as dry as it is, that entire area is lucky a wildfire did not start. Good to hear everyone was ok. Remember, stuff is just stuff and can be replaced, a life is a precious commodity that cannot!

i'm glad the family is safe.sorry for the loss of your home but you will have another one.it's hard to start over but it can be done. most important is that your precious lives were spared. for that i'm thankful.
