Two Dead in I-45 Crash

Grief Counselors are at Centerville High School after two died and three others were injured in a car accident on I-45 near Centerville on Thursday.
According to Trooper Shane Guyton in Leon County, a truck was speeding down I-45 when the vehicle drifted to the shoulder and hit loose gravel. Officials say the driver, Carl Rippley, over-corrected and lost control before hitting a nearby tree.
One passenger was ejected upon impact.
Stephanie Fowler, 23, and Carl Rippley, whose age is unknown, died on scene.
Lauren Rippley, Alex Rippley and Scotty Johnson were transported to Scott and White in Temple. Johnson is listed in critical condition.
According to Centerville ISD Superintendent Cathy Nichols, four students were involved in the accident from Centerville Jr. - Sr. High. Two of the students were graduating seniors at the high school. Grief counselors will be available Friday at the school.
Authorities believe they weren't wearing seat belts.

I remember me and my now husband Nicholas would three way call Carl and talk for hours.And when Nicholas moved to Madisonville, Carl helped his family move.He was a funny guy that could make anyone smile, but i never got to meet him in person.My heart goes out to his mother and sisters and to Stephanie's family as well, even though i didn't know her.

I was driving down I45, leaving school and going back to Dallas. I saw the wreck on the other side of the road. I prayed so hard that the driver was okay. On my way headed back to school, I noticed the flowers. I started to cry because I know that losing a loved one is the hardest thing to go through in life. I send my heart and love to the families and friends involved. I'm so sorry for all of your losses. Just know that this story has had an influence on more then just the ones who were close to these beloved people.
