Bryan Power Outage
Part of Villa Maria near Cavitt will be closed Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. to work on a traffic light that was damaged during an overnight wreck.

Part of Villa Maria near Cavitt will be closed Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. to work on a traffic light that was damaged during an overnight wreck.

That wreck caused 1300 customers to lose power around 2:03 a.m.

According to Bryan Police Department, a black Lexus driven by a 19-year old hit a utility pole on Villa Maria near Cavitt.

The areas that lost power were: Briarcrest to Highway 6, Villa Maria, Barak Ln., E. 29th St., and Briarcrest to Memorial.

According to officials at BTU, crews responded immediately and power was restored by 3:24 a.m.

The driver was treated at the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The town of Gonzales was treated at the hospital? If Gonzales is a person, what is their first name? Did the cops do a field sobriety test? Yesterday was the end of the college semester so lots of people were out getting hammered last night.
