It was a late night for some folks living at the Stadium View Apartments in College Station after a fire forced them to evacuate.

A small fire was reported at the complex on the 400 block of Marion Pugh around 12:30 Monday morning.

Fire officials say they had the fire contained within minutes.

There was minor damage to the outside of the building. It was evacuated as a precaution, but residents were quickly allowed to return home.

Fire investigators believe the fire may have been electrical, but an official cause has not yet been made.

The reason is, when the csfd gets an alarm for a structure fire, they automatically notify the local media. So they can get good publicity i guess.

Yeah... I agree what about the fire in Bryan. These people lost everything. The little boy has no clothes or toys to play with anymore. However you have nothing on that fire.
