A Burleson County family's world was turned upside-down late Sunday afternoon.
A fire sparked in the Jackson's home on Big Berry Road west of Somerville just before 5 p.m.
Firefighters believe it was faulty wiring that led to the blaze, which left the home as a total loss, with nothing inside salvageable.
Luckily, the family was not home at the time, but they came home to utter devastation.
"I'm very grateful that none of use were in here," said Andrea Jackson, "especially the babies taking a nap or something like that. That we were all out, I'm every grateful for that."
The family will stay at a hotel as they begin to pick up the pieces.
Multiple agencies from across the area responded to try and save the home.

Special thanks to the Somerville Volunteer firefighters who responded to the scene within minutes of the call. We are all grateful that no one was injured or worse and that other structures or land caught on fire due to the drought condition.
KBTX or anyone that knows the answer....Did this family have insurance??? Is there some way we can donate things or money to them?
