The hunt for a fugitive child molester has investigators in Robertson County where he may be hiding out.
Cid Artecona, Jr., 41, is a former Navasota resident, but it was in North Texas where he raped a 12-year-old girl. He went on trial this week in Sherman for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, but skipped town before the trial ended. Artecona was convicted anyway and sentenced to two life terms in prison.
New leads Friday placed Artecona in Robertson County. Authorities are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

I hope this sick individual is caught soon before he molests another innocent child! I know LE will apprehend this pervert and put him in prison where he belongs.
