A Thursday afternoon manhunt in Robertson County ends in the arrest of two Bryan men accused of burglarizing a home then trying to run over the homeowner.
Michel Knight, 28, and Jacque Willis, 26, are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.
Robertson County authorities say shortly after 1 pm, a Camp Creek Lake resident returned home to find two strange men rummaging through his workshop. When he confronted him, he said they jumped into a van and tried to run him down.
He gave chase in his own vehicle while relaying details to 911 dispatch. Robertson County Sheriff officials then took over with help from DPS troopers, Brazos County Sheriff deputies and Bryan Police.
The suspects eventually ditched the van on FM 1940 and fled on foot in different directions. Both were captured around 4 pm.
