A Snook pilot is in stable condition after crash landing his plane near the Brenham Airport.
Gary Snoe is being treated at the College Station Medical Center with unknown injuries.
According to DPS investigators, the twin engine Beach Baron aircraft experienced a malfunction in one of its engines moments after a 2 p.m. takeoff Wednesday from the Brenham Airport.
The pilot was forced to make a "belly" landing in a field off Tielke Lane near Highway 105.
Snoe was the only person on board the six-passenger plane.
