Fatal Accident Highway 79 Between Hearne & Gause

A 2 vehicle wreck Friday killed one person, injuring two others. The accident happened on highway 79 in Robertson County. in between Hearne and Gause.
DPS Troopers say 72 year old George Edwin Fitts from Marshall Texas was killed in the accident. He was declared dead on the scene.
Troopers say Fitts ran into the back of a truck that had come to a stop. Troopers say Fitts may not have seen the stopped truck.
The driver of the truck was hospitalized and later released. The two passengers in Fitts truck are hospitalized in more serious conditons.

Please update with parties involved. My wife has family in Gause. That stretch of highway needs a median, or turn lane down it like in Gause. My prayer's go out to the people who lost their life/lives.

Fitts was not in a truck.. He was in a Lexus
