Bowen Loftin will soon be able to drop Interim from his job title. He was chosen as the sole finalist by the Texas A&M Board of Regents for the top job at the University.

"He seems like a pretty cool guy. I saw him at midnight yell, and he seems pretty cool," said Alyson Stetina.

"He's done a lot of good things for the university so far, I mean there's all these projects, Military Walk, and the MSC. I know he's been a big part of that, " said Nick Schaefer.

"One time we were doing this trick-or-treating for canned goods and he came by the big house and he actually came outside in his pajamas and he was willing to donate," said Amy Oertli.

Loftin will have to wait three weeks before officially being named president.

I'm not sure which is more embarrassing -- the completely inane responses by the students, or KBTX's decision to run such a lame and insignificant story.
