World Down Syndrome Fundraising Dinner

The Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley is excited to announce the 1st annual World Down Syndrome Day Fundraising Dinner. The gala event will take place at the Hilton Hotel in College Station on Thursday, March 21st, and will consist of a social hour cash bar, silent and live auctions, and dinner. The date for World Down Syndrome Day being the 3rd month of the 21st day was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosomes which causes Down syndrome. The funds will benefit the people with Down syndrome and their families and provide classes, summer camps, social events, and workshops.
