Burglars Hit City Garbage Center

Police are investigating a burglary at the City of Huntsville Solid Waste/Recycling Center and the Texas Department of Transportation Maintenance Facility after suspects took numerous hand tools, power tools, and power equipment
The two facilities are located next door to each other in the 500 block of IH 45, north of the Hitchin’ Post Truck Stop. Some of the items taken during this burglary include a Ridgid Power Washer, a Blue Star Generator and a Millermatic Welder. It is estimated that the total value of the items taken are valued between $15,000 and $20,000. Police believe the suspects may have been driving a white van during the offense.
