Funeral services for the College Station native, Texas A&M graduate and Air Force airman who died on a river in Washington State are now scheduled for this Saturday.
Airman First Class Adam Lassiter will be remembered at 10 a.m. at Grace Bible Church on Anderson Street in College Station. Immediately following the service, he will be laid to rest at the Aggie Field of Honor, according to his family.
Services had originally been scheduled for early June.
According to Lassiter's mother, the 26-year-old's body will be flown from Spokane, Washington to Austin Thursday evening.
Lassiter went missing on the Spokane River March 31. His canoe was found miles down river on April 17, and his body was found May 6 in a lake fed by the river.
One of eight siblings, Lassiter is also survived by his wife, Erin.
