Posted: 8:58 AM May 22, 2012 Reporter: Steve Fullhart
Bryan Police are looking for a person who was in the West Villa Maria Citibank location shortly before there was an attempted robbery Friday.
While authorities emphasize the person pictured is not a suspect, they believe he may have information that could lead them to the three suspects who entered the bank in the 900 block of West Villa Maria late Friday afternoon.
The dark-skinned males had their faces covered according to BPD, but one displayed a firearm. They turned around and left shortly after they got inside.
No images have been released from BPD of the wanted trio.
Minutes after the incident, a minivan was found four blocks away in the Oaks apartment complex. It had been reported as stolen out of Houston, and authorities were investigating whether it may have been involved in the attempted robbery.
if you have any information on the incident, you're asked to call BPD at (979) 209-5300 or Brazos County Crime Stoppers at (979) 775-TIPS. You can leave tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
