Former Student Body President of 12th Man Student Foundation Arrested

Reporter: KBTX Staff

The former student body president of the 12th Man Student Foundation is out of jail, charged with fraud.

Christopher Lance Thompson, 24, is accused of taking 10 membership forms from the 12th Man Foundation that included personal and credit card information.

Texas A&M police say Thompson used one of the card's information to rent a U-Haul.

The 12th Man Foundation's Vice President says the forms were from a benefit in which Thompson had participated.

The forms were photo copies of the originals and there was reportedly no legitimate reason why Thompson should have had them.

Thompson is also accused of stealing checks from his girlfriend's mom.

He is out of jail on $6,000 bond.
