Texas A&M's Alum Center Celebrates Manziel Victory in a Grand Watch Party

Texas A&M University held the special watch party for students to view the Heisman Trophy presentation in honor of their star quarterback, Johnny Manziel.

Nearly a thousand Texas A&M football fans were glued to the 26-foot television wall at the Association of Former Students Heisman Watch Party Saturday night.

The room was electric when Manziel was named the winner in New York City. Hundreds of Aggies joined together in victory swaying as one to the Aggie War Hymn.

Aggie Congressman Bill Flores and Texas A&M University President R. Bowen Loftin also cheered on Johnny Football at the watch party. Special guests also included the Fightin' Texas Aggie Yell Leaders, the Big 12 Bus and the first lady of Aggieland, Miss Rev.

Manziel is the first freshman to ever be awarded the Heisman and the second Aggie since John David Crow won in 1957.
