6 p.m. - TAMU Suspends Football Player After Arrest

According to the Brazos County justice website, Texas A&M Defensive Lineman Kirby Ennis from Huntsville was arrested last night on charges of disorderly conduct/displaying a firearm.

He posted a $2,000 bond.

Texas A&M Associate Athletics Director Alan Cannon released a statement this afternoon:

"Texas A&M officials have been made aware of the arrest of football player Kirby Ennis and according to athletics department policy he is immediately suspended from all team activities pending further investigation."
