Families are flocking to Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater for a Saturday of fun.

This is the first year for Family Fest in College Station

Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach is hosting the event from 11 A.M. to around 10:30 P.M. to promote adoptions and raise awareness about the problems of unplanned pregnancy.

The afternoon lineup includes local musicians, a midway full of rides, food, and Nashville singer Greg Bates followed by headliner Rodney Atkins who'll take the stage after between 7 and 8 o'clock.

Atkins was adopted too.

"Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach has a focus of helping babies that are born as the result of unplanned pregnancies. So we help women while they are in their unplanned pregnancy to get the services that they need to ensure a healthy pregnancy. And then if they still want to come in for counseling and help discuss options and what's, how can I best make sure my child is cared for," said Kim Schams, Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach Executive Director.

Tickets are $25 for adults 13 and up while $10 for kids ages 6 to 12.

Five-year-olds and under are free.
