CROSBY-- Two people have been killed after the all-terrain vehicle they were riding flipped backward and crushed them.
Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland says four people were riding the Razor ATV on Saturday in an off-roading park in Crosby, a town about 20 miles northeast of Houston. The Houston Chronicle reports the ATV flipped backward as it approached a steep embankment.
Gilliland says two people were able to jump off the vehicle in time, but a man and woman did not and were crushed beneath the ATV.
The man died at the scene. The woman died in an ambulance on the way to a hospital.
