Send Major Accident In Burleson County Sends Three To Hospital

Three people are in the hospital tonight after a single-car accident in Burleson County where one person was trapped according to investigators.

The Burleson County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened around 6 p.m. Sunday on County Road 328 and County Road 377, near the town of Milano.

DPS troopers say the driver Kimberley Barnes, 45, of Caldwell was traveling at an unsafe speed when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree..which then caused the car to flip over.

Barnes, and two passengers, Amanda Garza, 35, and a male were all ejected from the vehicle.

According to DPS Garza's arm was pinned by the car when rescue crews arrived.

She was taken by medical helicopter to the hospital.

Barnes and the other victim were taken by ambulance.

All three sustained non-life threatening injuries.

DPS says no one was wearing a seatbelt.
