Bryan Man Sentenced To 45 Years For Killing Blinn College Student
Posted: 8:49 AM Nov 14, 2012
Reporter: Clay Falls
A Bryan man admits to killing a Blinn College Student after a drug deal in October 2011.
23-year-old Clayton Thompson was sentenced to 45 years in prison as part of a plea deal for shooting 19-year-old Billy Menard, Junior.
Thompson as well as two other men, Travis Carroll and Christopher Hernandez were arrested for the death of Billy Menard.
Investigators say Carroll sold Menard some marijuana and Menard became angry over the quality of it and refused to pay.
Menard was shot and killed at his residence at the Wilde Oak Apartments in Bryan.
Trials are still pending for the other two suspects.
