Driver Killed in Collision with Waller ISD School Bus

HOCKLEY, Texas – At least one person is dead after a Waller I.S.D. school bus and a car collided Wednesday morning west of Tomball.

According to authorities, the crash occurred around 6:20 a.m. on F.M. 2920 at Becker Road. F.M. 2920 was closed to traffic in both directions.

Views from Air 11 showed the vehicle, a small green sedan, under the rear of the school bus. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A district spokeswoman said three kids were getting on the bus when the crash occurred. The bus was stopped at the time, and officials said the vehicle ran into the back of it.

Neither the kids nor the bus driver were injured.
