Police Chase in Washington County Results in Crash

On, Friday, January 18, Deputy Bosse observed a white Cadillac traveling 110 MPH on Highway 290 West near Happy Hollow Road. Deputy Bosse attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the Cadillac, when it disregarded the Red and Blue emergency lights and continued traveling down the Highway 290 West.

Deputy Bosse began to pursue the Cadillac when it turned down Happy Hollow Road. Deputy Bosse pursued the Cadillac through several county roads to the address of 7380 Hummingbird Lane (the suspect’s residence).

The Cadillac drove onto the property and crashed. Deputy Bosse was able to apprehend the suspect who was identified as Bruce Randermann (Age 55 from Brenham). Randermann was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail for Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated. The case is still pending an investigation.
