Leon Co. Man Runs Over Girlfriend with Car, Kills Her

A Leon County man is behind bars after investigators say he allegedly ran over his wife Monday night – and killed her.

Thirty-year-old Christopher Lee Byrd is being charged with Intoxication Manslaughter with a vehicle after what authorities believe began as an “intoxicated domestic dispute” between Byrd and his wife, Crystal Renee McCoslin-Byrd.

Crystal Byrd died as a result of her injuries. Christopher Byrd remains in the Leon County Jail on $50,000 bond.
