Aggies Host Texas State In Home Finale

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The sixth-ranked Texas A&M baseball team will host its final home contest of the regular season Tuesday night when the Aggies take on Texas State in a 6:35 p.m. contest on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.

The Bobcats bring a 29-20 overall record to Aggieland while Texas A&M will attempt to improve upon its 37-14 season mark and increase its chances of hosting an NCAA Regional on its home field.

Texas A&M holds a 38-12 advantage in the all-time series with Texas State, formerly Southwest Texas State. A year ago, the Aggies earned a ... Last season, the Aggies routed the Bobcats by a score of 15-5 in College Station and were led by a 4-for-5, four-RBI effort from Jacob House.

UP NEXT
The Aggies conclude the 2012 regular season with a three-game series against Oklahoma State in Stillwater. The series is slated to begin on Thursday and after its conclusion the team will remain in Oklahoma to prepare for the Big 12 Championship, which begins at Oklahoma City’s Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark the following Wednesday.
