Flatonia Powers Past North Zulch in Game One Of Regional Championship Softball Series

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- It was a battle of Bulldogs at the Aggie Softball Complex Thursday evening as Flatonia and North Zulch met in the opening game of a best of three playoff series to decide the Class 1A Region 4 Championship.

Flatonia got a pair of home runs to jump out to a big lead early and cruised to an 11-2 win over the Lady Z Dogs. Courtney Mica hit a grand slam home run in the 2nd, while Taylor Williams added a 2 run shot in the 4th.

The best of 3 series now switches to La Grange with Flatonia up 1-0.
