On the 12th day of the month, Texas A&M's new football threads will be unveiled.
At 12:12 p.m. Thursday, Aggie Athletics put out its first in a series of teases for the Adidas TECHFIT uniform, showing just a portion of the maroon and white clothing.
Many initial commenters on the social media site thought the full uniform was going to be unveiled at 12:12 p.m. and were disappointed with having to wait a week.
"Just show the whole thing and enough with the games," wrote one user, Mark Flotte.
But others were OK with the teases. John Jakubik posted, "Like this releasing a little at a time with the news of seeing it all on 7/12. Will be fun each day and appreciate the sneak peak."
Adidas touts the more fitting uniforms allow for lighter, faster athletes, but as far as design, A&M has not made drastic changes to its uniforms unlike other schools over the last few years, most notably the Oregon Ducks, which sports Nike apparel.
Another Facebook user, Bryan Dement, wrote, "Man, they better not have jacked with Tradition in order to 'bling it up' and make a buck.... Go with what brung ya!"
A&M first sported the TECHFIT in 2010, according to the Dallas Morning News.
