Blair Hits Half Court Shot As No. 20 Texas A&M Prepares for Road Game Against No. 6 Kentucky

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- No. 20 Texas A&M (12-4, 2-0) will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to face-off with its fifth top-10 opponent of the season. The Aggies will take on the No. 6 Kentucky Wildcats (14-1, 2-0) at 5 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, January 10. Thursday’s match up will be the first ever meeting between the two programs.

The Aggies enter the contest hot, having won 12 of their last 13 games, with an average margin of victory of over 25 points. In the first release of the NCAA RPI the Aggies placed No. 18 just one spot behind No. 17 Kentucky, the SEC had six teams in the top-40 of the list.

Texas A&M won last Sunday at then No. 23 Arkansas 63-51 behind a career day from freshman Courtney Williams. Williams set new personal bests in points (16), rebounds (7), field goals (7), assists (2) and minutes played (37). In addition to Williams stellar day, junior Kelsey Bone had yet another double-double in the winning effort with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Senior Adrienne Pratcher added 13 points and freshman Courtney Walker chipped in 11 to help the Aggies to the difficult road victory.
