Bryan baseball advances in playoffs with 4-1 win over Sachse

BRYAN, Texas -- Ty Culbreth struck out 12 and hit a two run home run to lead Bryan past Garland Sachse 4-1 in a 5A Region II Area playoff game at Bryan High.

Culbreth's homer in the 3rd inning gave the Vikings a lead they would never relinquish.

Casey Skalaban also went yard for Bryan.

The Vikings advance to meet 12-5A rival Belton in the Regional quarterfinals.
