Pair Of Aggies In Romania For Student Riders Nations Cup

HOGHILAG, Romania—Two members of the Texas A&M equestrian team will compete this weekend at the second annual Transylvania International Horse Show in central Romania.

Junior Kelsi Shelvin (Alpharetta, Ga.) and sophomore CiCi Riddle (Atlanta, Ga.) will represent the Aggies and their country in the Student Riders Nations Cup this Thursday through Sunday at the Cross-Country Farm.

Shevlin and Riddle will represent the United States as part of a 45-rider field. Each of the 15 participating countries will be made up of three-person teams. Trials include dressage and show jumping, with preliminary rounds scheduled for Thursday and Friday. The semifinals will take place Saturday and the finals on Sunday.
