COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The sixth-ranked Texas A&M baseball team will conclude the 2012 regular season this weekend as it travels to Stillwater, Okla., to face Oklahoma State in a three-game series at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

The series will begin Thursday night with a 6:30 p.m. contest before continuing on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and concluding with a 1 p.m. game on Saturday afternoon.

Both Texas A&M (38-14) and Oklahoma State (32-20) enter the weekend tied for second in the Big 12 standings, sharing identical 13-8 league records.

BIG 12 STANDINGS

A&M/OKLAHOMA STATE SERIES NOTABLES
Oklahoma State holds a 34-30 all-time edge in the series, but the Aggies lead the series by a 25-24 mark since the formation of the Big 12 Conference prior to the 1997 season.

Recently, the Aggies have held the upper hand in the series, winning the final two games of the 2009 series in College Station before sweeping the Cowboys each of the last two seasons. The eight-game winning streak is the best for the Aggies in history of the series.

Texas A&M head coach Rob Childress is 10-8 all-time against Oklahoma State.

UP NEXT
The Aggies will stay in the Sooner State and travel to Oklahoma City after Saturday’s game to prepare for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, which will take place at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark May 23-27.

Texas A&M has won the tournament each of the last two seasons with a walk-off home run in the title game and will be aiming to join Nebraska (1999-01) as the only school to win the event in three consecutive years.
