Huntsville, TEXAS -- The Bryan softball team lost to Klein Collins 7-4 in game two of their best of three Class 5A regional semifinal series. With the victory Collins wins the series 2-0.
Bryan got on the scoreboard in the first on a Brittney Jones base hit to right field that sent Reagan Boenker home. The Lady Tigers answered in the third inning on an Angelica Gonzales three run homer. Collins would add a run in the fourth to take a 4-1 lead.
Bryan scored two runs in the fourth to cut the Collins lead to 4-3. The Lady Vikings tied the game in the fifth on an Ally Bessette base hit to center field that scored Courtney Meier.
Collins scored the final three runs of the game in the sixth. All three runs scored on a Demi Janak home run.
Bryan ends the season 31-8.
