Johnny Manziel Talks About Te'o's Recent Ordeal And Returning To School After winning Heisman
Johnny Manziel Raw Interview After Being Recognized During Halftime Of Texas A&M - Florida Men's Basketball Game

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- During halftime of Thursday night's Texas A&M- Florida basketball game the Aggie football team was honored for their 11-2 season - highlighted by a Cotton Bowl win over Oklahoma and being the only team this season to beat two time defending National Champion Alabama.

Of course Johnny Manziel triggered the Aggies turnaround season and went onto win the Heisman Trophy last month.

During his trip to New York for the Heisman ceremony Johnny got to know Notre Dame's Manti Te'o and like the rest of the country was shocked at the recent news surrounding the much heralded Fighting Irish linebacker and a much publicized girlfriend's death that never happened.

"Just like everybody else, my mind was blown," said Johnny Manziel. "My roommate, we were sitting there and we saw a tweet and then to go on the internet and my roommate told me, 'You're never going to guess what just came out.' Nobody could believe that it was a shock to the sports world and being the sports fan that I am, I was just as shocked as anybody else."

Johnny also talked about lessons he's learned, some the hard way concerning social media. The kind of work the team is going to have to put forth now that A&M is considered a preseason favorite to contend for the 2013 National Championship. As well as returning to school as a Heisman Trophy winner.
