Retail Gasoline Prices Across Texas Up 2 Cents
Updated: 05/22/2013 - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have risen 2 cents as travelers prepare for the long Memorial Day holiday weekend.
We are back on pump patrol and prices have gone down in the area but suprisingly enough, we found a higher gas price!
At the Exxon on Welsh Avenue and Harvey Mitchell Parkway gas is $3.73 a gallon. That's 4 cents more than the previous high we found on Wednesday's Pump Patrol. We'd like to thank Larry Degelman for sending that in. And believe or not, folks are still pumping gas even though its $3.73.
But there are a lot of people getting gas at the Walmart on Briarcrest. At $3.41 a gallon, its the cheapest gas we could find here in B/CS. Our neighbors aren't paying quite as much though. In Tomball, just an hour away, they are paying $3.19 a gallon. In Austin they are paying $3.17 a gallon. In the Valley, you might not want to hear this but they are paying just $3.01 a gallon. Our good friends up in Oklahoma, $2.95 a gallon. The City of El Paso is on course with us at $3.40 a gallon, while Frisco and McKinney are paying $3.49 and up to $3.61 for a gallon of gas.
Now we want your feedback when it comes to Pump Patrol. Take a picture of expensive or inexpensive gas and we'll feature it here on Pump Patrol because we're looking out for you and we need to find cheaper gas prices here in B/CS.
