Posted: 06/13/2013 - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have risen 3 cents this week to an average of $3.40 per gallon.
Texas motorists have gas prices to be thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday. The weekly AAA Texas price survey released today found self-serve, regular gasoline was averaging $1.75 per gallon. That's 13 cents lower than last week.
But here in Bryan/College Station folks are filling up for just $1.64 a gallon at the Wal-mart on Briarcrest, the cheapest price in the area,
but not by much! The Kroger on Boonville Road has gas for $1.65 a gallon, along with the Shell and Chevron in downtown Bryan.
That means you can put 20 gallons of gas in your vehicle for just $33.
