Retail Gasoline Prices Across Texas Up 2 Cents
2 mins ago - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have risen 2 cents as travelers prepare for the long Memorial Day holiday weekend.
UNDATED -- GasBuddy.com says the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.80. That's up 13 cents from a year ago and the highest price ever recorded during Labor Day weekend.
Senior petroleum analyst at Gasbuddy.com Patrick DeHaan says drivers will see the price start to drop once the workers return to the oil rigs on the Gulf Coast.
DeHaan adds the price should also fall a bit later this month as demand drops with the end of the summer driving season.
