Retail Gasoline Prices Across Texas Up 2 Cents
Updated: 1:33 PM - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have risen 2 cents as travelers prepare for the long Memorial Day holiday weekend.
As of Thursday morning, the average price of gas in College Station was $3.56.

HOUSTON -- Retail gasoline prices in Texas are down 7 cents this week in part because of the end of the summer driving season.
AAA Texas reported Thursday that the average price of regular unleaded was $3.58. The national average is $3.79.
Travel agency officials say that while pump prices are higher than a year ago, they are coming down because of the end of summer and the resolution of regional supply and distribution issues.
In Texas, Amarillo has the most expensive gas at $3.63, while Corpus Christi is the cheapest at $3.51.
