HOUSTON -- Texas motorists will once again pay a little less at the pump as gasoline prices have fallen 4 cents across the state.
AAA Texas on Thursday reports the average price of regular unleaded gasoline at the pump has dropped to $3.16 per gallon.
The association survey found that the national average cost for gasoline has plunged 13 cents in the past week to $3.34 per gallon.
Once again, El Paso has the most expensive gasoline statewide at $3.27 per gallon. AAA Texas found that Beaumont continues to have the cheapest gasoline at $3.09 per gallon.
The association says the main reason for the steady decline in gasoline prices is lower crude prices tied to economic concerns nationally and internationally.
