The September opening of the new Cotton Patch Café in Bryan will likely add between 70 and 90 jobs and could result in more than $1 million in local investment according to the company.
The new Cotton Patch location is at 940 North Earl Rudder Freeway near a pair of other prominent new Bryan business developments: Premiere Cinemas and the Kroger shopping center.
“We believe the Bryan market is the right place to expand the Cotton Patch Café brand. We have had success with our nearby College Station location and decided to invest more in this community where our customers have supported us so well,” said Mike Patranella, co-owner of the restaurant chain in a statement.
The newest Cotton Patch has 5,000 square feet of space for dining (180 guests can dine there) and operations.
The Irving, Texas-based company boasts 30 restaurants in Texas and New Mexico, and is planning new locations in Georgetown, Rockwall, Tyler, Waxahachie, Wichita Falls in early 2008.
