Bryan Radiology Associates is proud to announce the completion of their imaging center expansion located in Bryan at 2722 Osler Boulevard. They have updated the facility and added advanced state of the art imaging technology available and are the first fully digital full service outpatient imaging center in the Brazos Valley. This expansion will allow Bryan Radiology to continue to offer patients and their physicians the best imaging technology available in a comfortable and convenient setting.
The expanded imaging center is over 7,000 square feet and features the most advanced imaging modalities, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), 64-slice Computed Tomography (CT), Digital Mammography, DEXA Bone Densitometry, Ultrasound, Digital Radiography, and Special Procedures such as varicose vein ablation, breast biopsies, and arthrograms. “Bryan Radiology’s CT unit is the highest resolution scanner in the Brazos Valley with 0.5 mm resolution images with the best image quality. These images will be processed by the latest version of 3D technology, which has the most advanced cardiac package available on the market. This translates into the most accurate non-invasive cardiac imaging of the heart and its arteries,” says Dr. Frederick Kash, a fellowship trained neuroradiologist. Utilizing the latest information technology, the center is equipped with a Picture Archive and Communication System or PACs, which allows physicians to view patient images and patient reports on the web in the convenience of their office or homes.
This is the first imaging facility in the Brazos Valley to offer digital mammography and breast MRI to enhance their women’s services. Board certified radiologist, Dr. Shane Tindall says, “Digital mammography uses lower doses of radiation and obtains images quicker than standard mammographic technique. It is especially beneficial in detecting abnormalities in very dense breasts. Breast MRI is highly sensitive to cancers that could go undetected with other imaging modalities. The American Cancer Society recommends annual breast MRI, in addition to mammograms, for women at high risk for developing breast cancer.”
In addition to state of the art technology and spacious, comfortable facility, Bryan Radiology has a central scheduling department to quickly make patient appointments. All imaging services will be interpreted the same day by a board certified radiologist with advanced subspecialty training. Imaging reports are automatically faxed to your physician, upon signature by the radiologists. For more information about our imaging services, please call 979-776-8291.
