A&M Consolidated Business Professionals of America Leadership Conference Results

The Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference was held March~5_8,~2008 in Dallas, TX. Forty-one AMCHS students competed in individual and team events.
The following eight students qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Reno, NV, May 7-11, 2008.

Keri Wood – Fundamental Accounting, National Qualifier
Pranitha Patil – Spreadsheet Applications & Analysis, National Qualifier
Emily Wu -- Keyboarding Production, National Qualifier
Andrew Keating – Database Applications, National Qualifier
Ali El-Halwagi – Database Applications, National Qualifier
Max Bowman – Fundamentals of XHTML, National Qualifier
Erica Liu – Graphic Design Promotion, National Qualifier
Jessica Mitter – Advanced Interview Skills, National Qualifier
Students who are alternates to the National Conference in Reno, NV:

Kelsey Mills – Fundamental Accounting, National Alternate
Liz Blomstedt, Max Bowman, Alex Liu, Emily Wu -- Web Application Team, National Alternate
Seth Carstens, Jae Han, Mengxiang Huang, Robby Nevels – Software Engineering Team, National Alternate
Jimmy Hemmer – Java Programming, National Alternate
Receiving special recognition in the open, General Competitive Events:

Rachel Flores-Meath – Information Technology Concepts, 2nd place
Rachel Flores-Meath -- Administrative Support Concepts, 7th place
